SEAPEX will host an afternoon Technical/Farmout Forum on Friday 13th April 2012 at Orchard Hotel, Singapore. This will be held after the Singapore Scout Check and will continue in place of the normal SEAPEX evening meeting.
The Technical Forum will feature up to 8 presentations that will concentrate on key global technology achievements that will affect future hydrocarbon exploration. There will be no requirement for South East Asia examples.
The Farmout Forum, will comprise of a farmout poster panel exhibition area where companies can promote farmout opportunities and discuss them with potential investors.
The Technical Forum will start at 14:00 hrs after the Singapore Scout Check Meeting and close at 18:30 hrs, and will be followed by the usual SEAPEX networking session where an open bar and refreshments will be provided throughout the evening. The Farmout Forum will continue until the end of the evening.
Registration to attend the Technical/Farmout Forum will be open to SEAPEX Members only in accordance with Singapore regulations, and will start at 1330 hrs. The registration fee for the event will be S$40 and this includes tickets for 4 drinks. Non-members will be welcome to join as a Member at the registration desk.

Fractured Basement Reservoir Along the Coast of South Vietnam
The objectives of this fieldtrip will be to give participants an overview of the reservoir plays of the South Coast of Vietnam by visiting outcrops that demonstrates part of the elements of the petroleum system analogue to the offshore Cuu Long basin. There will be opportunities to review several episodes of structural deformation leading to fractured reservoirs.
The trip will start in Ho Chi Minh City and continuous to the coast at Vung Tau, Phan Thiet and then Phan Rang. After that we will head towards the west to get back to Ho Chi Minh City.
