DISCRETIONARY SPENDING REPORT

Every year SEAPEX allocates a portion of its budget Every year SEAPEX allocates a portion of its budget for Discretionary Spending to support educational, philanthropic and other causes and activities that advance the objectives of our society.  As part of the recent membership survey it was discovered that many of you would like to have more information about the amount and application of SEAPEX's discretionary spending.

As a result, the Council has agreed that a Discretionary Spending Report will be added to the member's section of the website and will be updated quarterly. The current report can be accessed via the SEAPEX website. In addition, a separate Discretionary Spending summary will be presented at the AGM and members will be asked to submit ideas for deserving causes and activities for the upcoming year.  If you have any questions about SEAPEX's Discretionary Spending, please contact Bill Lafferrandre (bill.g.lafferrandre@conocophillips.com).

SEAPEX QUESTIONAIRE RESULTS

SEAPEX Members may access a more detailed analysis of the results from the survey conducted earlier this year which had sought Members opinions on the various activities and services provided to the membership. This is to be found under the Singapore tab and then click Initiatives.

As you will see from these results there is a variety of opinion and, as such, not every opinion can be accommodated!  That said, there have been some very valid points made which have highlighted areas for improvement, many of which have been and are being acted upon.  For this reason alone, we consider this initiative as having been successful and yet again wish to thank all Members who took the time, by responding, to participate in this initiative.

With thanks,

John Whitcomb
