The SEAPEX Exploration Conference - SEC 2011

We are providing three simple methods for registration:

  1. Online (recommended) by visiting the SEC 2011 website.

  2. Alternatively, you can download the Conference Flyer, print out, complete the registration form and fax (+65 6533 1886) or email (judy.foong@seapex.org) it to Judy Foong.

  3. Or you can register at the counter at the next SEAPEX meeting in Singapore.


SEAPEX EXPLORATION CONFERENCE 2011 – GOLF TOURNAMENT SPONSORSHIP
         
THERE A FEW OPPORTUNITIES REMAINING TO BE A SPONSOR AT THIS PRESTIGIOUS GOLF TOURNAMENT FOLLOWING THE CONFERENCE

SEAPEX invites your company to be a sponsor of the SEC 2011 Golf Tournament to be held on 8 April 2011 at the world renown Laguna Golf Club in Singapore.
 
Sponsorships still available:

  • Par 3 (SGD 2,500): The sponsor’s signage will be placed at the tee box and at the green. The sponsor is free to organize a competition at the hole in addition to the standard SEAPEX ‘nearest the pin’ competition. The sponsor can have representatives (dressed in golfing attire) at the hole, a table can also be placed to distribute marketing materials. Drinks can be served but must be purchased through the Laguna Club.

  • Par 5 (SGD 1,500): The sponsor is free to organize a competition at the hole in addition to the standard SEAPEX ‘longest drive’ competition. No tables can be placed at the hole but representatives (dressed in golfing attire) can attend the hole. No drinks can be served at these holes.

  • Par 4 (SGD 1,000): The sponsor’s signage will be placed at the tee box. No representatives can attend the holes.

  • Buggy Sponsor (SGD 3,000): The sponsor’s logo will be placed on each buggy.

Any member who is in arrears for payment of dues by 31 January 2011, will be suspended from SEAPEX. For further information, please refer to Article X Sec 4 of the Constitution.

Responding to Members requests to have access to past publications and preceedings, we are pleased to advise that this facility is now available to Members on the SEAPEX Website.  Access to these materials is to be found in the Members Area by clicking on the 'Document Download' tile.


FARMOUT OPPORTUNITIES - NOW 'LIVE' AND AVAILABLE ON THE SEAPEX WEBSITE

If you have an opportunity you wish to promote, simply go to the Members Area where you will find the necessary instructions (by means of the 'Help' button) to post your material.


DISCRETIONARY SPENDING REPORT
 
Every year SEAPEX allocates a portion of its budget for Discretionary Spending to support educational, philanthropic and other causes and activities that advance the objectives of our society.  A summary of SEAPEX's Discretionary Spending for the 2009-2010 fiscal year was presented at the AGM in October 2010.  This summary report as well as the approved Discretionary Spending for the 2010-2011 fiscal year can be accessed via the SEAPEX website. Members are also being asked to submit additional ideas for deserving causes and activities for this year's Discretionary Spending.  If you have any questions about or ideas for the use of SEAPEX's Discretionary Spending, please contact Bill Lafferrandre (bill.g.lafferrandre@conocophillips.com).

SEAPEX VIETNAM FIELD TRIP, 25 – 28 MARCH 2011

Outcrops of the western Mekong Delta, southern Vietnam
 
Cuu Long Basin, Khorat Swell, clastics, pre-Tertiary basement and more!

 
This field trip provides participants with an overview of the petroleum potential of the western part of south Vietnam, particularly the Phu Quoc area, through study of the geological structure, sequence stratigraphy, structural characteristics and tectonic evolution. The tour will also study the impact of magmatic activity in the late Jurassic-Cretaceous on the petroleum system. The tour travels west by bus from Ho Chi Minh City, returning to Ho Chi Minh City on the fourth day. All field trip notes, commentaries and final report will be in English.
